Young Women’s Girls Camp Fundraiser

Dear Sisters,
Enjoy a night out!

The Young Women's Girls Camp fundraiser is starting this weekend. We are providing babysitting services on Friday and Saturday nights for all families who are interested.

The Young Women have signed up for the nights that they are available, and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Please see the schedule for this Friday and Saturday below. Families that are interested will need to contact the girls individually to make arrangements. The girls signed up for this weekend are as follows:
Friday, 3rd of February:

Smith Trahern Cake Bake

Sisters:

Check out the annual Smith Trahern Cake Bake. If you love baking cakes, this is a fun event. Bake a homemade cake (can use mixes) within the listed categories and enter to win a prize. Cakes are bought by local businesses/organizations as a sponsorship. Funds are used for Smith Trahern renovations. Nashville Community Choir begins Easter Rehearsals

Nashville Community Choir began its rehearsals for the Easter program today. Rehearsals will continue every Sunday at Green Hills Chapel in Nashville, every Sunday between now and Easter, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. For more information, contact Julia Waldroup.

Bake for Empty Bowls: Hope, Not Hunger

Do you love to bake? Why not volunteer to bake and donate your goodies to a great cause? We are looking for bakers and sweet-makers to donate their fresh-baked goodies for the Fourth Annual Empty Bowls, Hope Not Hunger Benefit on February 28th, 2012.

Cookies, cupcakes, brownies, bars and homemade breads are needed. We’d like to ask each group to donate 5 dozen, or more, cookies, cupcakes, brownies, bars, bread, biscuits, or cornbread servings.

Please place 2 brownies, bars, or cookies into small sandwich bags for individual servings. Breads, biscuits, and cornbread can be delivered in disposable pans or bags (not necessary to bag individual servings).

You can drop off at one of the following locations:

Craft Day at Church

Thursday, Jan 26th is Craft Day at church from 10AM-3PM. We will meet in the gym and have fun crafting and visiting. Elaine Wright will have some Valentine's projects and cards you can make or you can bring your own craft and visit while you work. There will be plenty of room to spread out and work.

You can bring your own lunch or go out to eat or only stay half the day, whatever fits you best. Come and spend the day with the sisters!
